Private Personal Training Fitness Studio in Las Vegas

3 SESSIONS FOR $100

about

Hey everyone! My name is Chase Oliver. As I’m sure you know by now, I am a certified personal trainer in Las Vegas. More specifically, the Spring Valley area near The Lakes or Summerlin South.

I have been a trainer since 2013. I began my journey at a corporate gym in Los Angeles. Prior to being a trainer in LA, I competed in various sports growing up in the Bay Area. My entire life has revolved around fitness and athletics: basketball, soccer, and martial arts just to name a few. Upon entering high school, my parents gave me my very first personal training lessons as a birthday present (obviously I was the client at the time).

It didn’t take long before realizing how much I enjoyed fitness, more specifically weight training. In fact there were many aspects of it that reminded me of martial arts. Learning proper form, engaging muscles to its fullest capability, gaining an understanding of how muscles function and its purpose depending on the exercise. Not to mention exceeding limitations you once thought were impossible. I loved it!

When I went off to college, I was a cinema and television major in college. It was my destiny — or so I thought. I had worked as an actor for 15 years, so I thought it made sense for my area of studies to be on the entertainment industry. The problem? I didn’t like it. I rarely felt a sense of fulfillment from the majority of my classes and eventually found myself at a crossroads. What the heck was I going to do after graduating college? Do I continue down the path of entertainment or was I going to do something else? Slowly, but surely the idea of becoming a personal trainer crept into my head. I thought to myself, “You’re out of your mind. Now you’re considering a career change on the brink of graduation?!” While wrestling with these thoughts, I was offered a job as a manager for an up and coming talent agency. A stable job was staring me right in the face. I mean it wasn’t exactly what I wanted to do, but hey, I've got bills to pay. The entertainment industry was a huge part of my life too. Seemed logical, so why didn’t I just accept the job?

Turns out I was more conflicted than I thought. Didn’t matter though. It was decision time. What did I want to do?

All I knew was this…

I wanted to help improve people’s well-being and uplift others thru positivity. I wanted to show those who had little confidence in themselves, that they were capable and could achieve goals they never thought possible. I wanted to stay physically active in my work environment. The thought of sitting at a desk made me antsy. It seemed like a crazy idea. There were going to be no guarantees, but ultimately…

I knew I wanted to become a personal trainer.

No looking back. I made my decision and had to live with it.

Ho-ly mo-ly.

So here I am today. A former LA entertainment guy, turned Las Vegas personal trainer. It has by no means been an easy ride. Which brings me to my next section…

What’s it like working with me as your personal trainer? For one, you can count on having an awesome time during your session. Let’s face it. What’s the use of working out if you can’t have fun? I’ll admit my clients don’t always like my interpretation of the word, “fun.” I mean come on. Who doesn’t want their legs to feel like jello after Bulgarian split squats and lunges? I thought you wanted to get a bigger booty? Who doesn’t like their abs burning like hot sauce after a core drill? I thought you wanted a lean stomach? Doesn’t that sound like fun? Lol!

Don’t worry. I’m not a “drill sergeant” trainer. A great workout should never equate to unreasonable pain. I want to make this very clear: I am extremely selective about the type of program I create for each client. Will I challenge you? Absolutely. However, there needs to be a safe and efficient way to go about it. Every client is different. They must be trained according to their overall capabilities. I wouldn’t give the same workout to an athletic 25 year old as I would a 65 year old with knee issues.

Many of my clients come to me with pre-existing physical limitations. This could be anywhere from chronic back issues, a bad shoulder from lifting too heavy, or (as I mentioned before) minor to severe knee problems. Which is why I implement various rehabilitative techniques in my programs to improve their overall mobility. The bottom line is no one should be in pain. Always treat your body with great care and consideration.

Watching clients grow within the gym and in their personal lives is the most rewarding aspect of my job. Whether your goal is to lose weight, gain new muscle, compete in a Spartan race, or even build a bigger booty, I will do all I can to help you become a success. If you want to be uplifted through mind, body, and soul, I’m your guy. I look forward to working together! Choose me as your personal trainer in Las Vegas!

Nutrition

Diet. Just about everyone despises this very word. It repulses us. Thoughts of boring food pops up into our brains. I'm sure you've heard the term "eating clean" where it seems like delicious treats are replaced with "healthier" concoctions prompting us to wonder, “Is this what sawdust taste like?”

Luckily, our diet doesn’t have to be extremely restrictive. It doesn’t have to be boring either. Believe it or not, we can still have tasty food all the while getting in great shape! It’s just a matter of having the right balance. Most people don’t have the proper knowledge to execute a sustainable diet plan. That’s where I come in. As your personal trainer, I take the guess work out of the equation. Because the truth is our diet determines the outcome of our physique. You can workout until you’re blue in the face. If your diet isn’t on point? Your efforts will all have been for nothing.

That being said, you have to take a steady approach when changing your diet. Why? It helps you sustain and maintain better eating habits in the long run. Most people who try to drastically change their diet (especially around New Year’s) fail miserably. You have got to take your time. It’s okay to make mistakes because it's a learning process. As time goes on you’ll get better at it. At the end of the day we’ll make your diet work in your favor!

Now, with all that said, who are you going to choose as your personal trainer in Las Vegas? *Ahem*

With all that said, I gotta give you credit for reading all of that. If you'd like to see if we're a good fit, go ahead and fill out that contact form below for your free consultation. I look forward to speaking with you!
